Przedsiębiorstwo Wdrażania Postępu Technicznego POSTEOR started  its business in 1974. The Branch in Sopot was established in 1976. In 1991 the Branch was privatized and started activity  as an independent unit. Several hundred implementations of inventions, utility models and scientific and research works in various industries have been carried out at Posteor during this period.

In its current legal form, Przedsiębiorstwo Wdrażania Postępu Technicznego Posteor Sp. z o. o. exists since 2002.

Currently, the company focuses on activities in the energy and industrial sectors. The production utility the technical, service are located in the Branch in Elbląg.
